Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program for Opioid Use Disorder (OUD)

We are glad you have chosen to begin this journey into your sobriety. At Paradise you will not be judged for wanting help and you will be treated with respect and dignity.

Our approach to recovery is to treat addiction as a disease. We treat patients struggling with opiates, alcohol, stimulants and sedatives.

Patient Requirements

We require all patients being prescribed buprenorphine to enroll into the Paradise MAT program. Treatment is only provided after the following have been completed:

  • You have completed our new patient forms and signed our MAT program contract
  • Your application has been reviewed and approved by our office
  • You have been medically diagnosed by one of our providers
  • You have valid insurance eligibility (if applicable, cash patients are accepted)

MAT Program Details

  • Paradise Behavioral Health may contact your former provider(s) and review your medical history as part of the review process.
  • An appointment with a provider DOES NOT guarantee a prescription. This is at the discretion of the provider.
  • A drug test is required at every provider visit including your first appointment.
  • You must see a therapist at least once per month.​
  • All patients will be expected to participate in a tapering plan (reduction of dosage).
  • A "No Show" will be an automatic discharge from the program.
