If you or a loved one is having behavioral issues, a psychiatric evaluation can properly diagnose you and a successful treatment plan will be created to help you get your life back.
Paradise Behavioral Health will perform a comprehensive evaluation so we can create a personalized treatment plan that will directly address the issues you are facing.
A psychiatric evaluation has several important steps. Our thorough evaluation will give your provider an in-depth look at the current state of your physical and mental health.
Some of the things you can expect during an evaluation include:
No other mental health clinic will go to this level of detail to provide care.
If you’ve been experiencing persistent sadness, lack of energy, or loss of interest in activities you once enjoyed, our depression assessment can help determine the severity and nature of your condition. Our compassionate team will work with you to develop a treatment plan that addresses your unique needs and helps you find relief. We start with the PHQ-9, which is the gold standard of assessment tools for depression.
Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) can significantly impact daily functioning and academic performance. Our ADHD assessment involves a comprehensive evaluation of your symptoms, behavioral patterns, and cognitive abilities. By accurately diagnosing ADHD, we can offer personalized interventions and support to help you thrive.
Anxiety can manifest in various forms, such as generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, or social anxiety. Our anxiety evaluation aims to identify the specific type and triggers of your anxiety, enabling us to create a tailored treatment plan that equips you with effective coping strategies and promotes overall well-being. We start with the GAD-7 assessment for diagnosing anxiety
Our general psychiatric evaluation is designed to assess and diagnose a wide range of mental health conditions. Through a thorough examination of your medical history, personal background, and current symptoms, our experienced psychiatrists will provide you with an accurate diagnosis and a personalized treatment plan.
Bipolar disorder is characterized by extreme mood swings, ranging from depressive episodes to manic highs. Our bipolar disorder diagnosis process involves an in-depth evaluation of your mood patterns, behavior, and medical history. With a proper diagnosis, we can develop an individualized treatment plan to stabilize your mood and enhance your quality of life.
A psychiatric evaluation is the equivalent to a physical examination but for your mental health.
A psychiatric evaluation may be needed to diagnose emotional, behavioral, or developmental disorders. The initial evaluation will explore many aspects including medical and family history, social and environmental influences, school or work concerns, and emotional and cognitive strengths and weaknesses.
