Call us today to become a patient of Paradise Behavioral Health.

General Psychiatric Evaluation
Our general psychiatric evaluation is designed to assess and diagnose a wide range of mental health conditions. Through a thorough examination of your medical history, personal background, and current symptoms, our experienced psychiatrists will provide you with an accurate diagnosis and a personalized treatment plan.

Depression Assessment
If you’ve been experiencing persistent sadness, lack of energy, or loss of interest in activities you once enjoyed, our depression assessment can help determine the severity and nature of your condition. Our compassionate team will work with you to develop a treatment plan that addresses your unique needs and helps you find relief. We start with the PHQ-9, which is the gold standard of assessment tools for depression.

Anxiety Evaluation
Anxiety can manifest in various forms, such as generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, or social anxiety. Our anxiety evaluation aims to identify the specific type and triggers of your anxiety, enabling us to create a tailored treatment plan that equips you with effective coping strategies and promotes overall well-being. We start with the GAD-7 assessment for diagnosing anxiety.

ADHD Assessment
Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) can significantly impact daily functioning and academic performance. Our ADHD assessment involves a comprehensive evaluation of your symptoms, behavioral patterns, and cognitive abilities. By accurately diagnosing ADHD, we can offer personalized interventions and support to help you thrive.

Bipolar Disorder Diagnosis
Bipolar disorder is characterized by extreme mood swings, ranging from depressive episodes to manic highs. Our bipolar disorder diagnosis process involves an in-depth evaluation of your mood patterns, behavior, and medical history. With a proper diagnosis, we can develop an individualized treatment plan to stabilize your mood and enhance your quality of life.

Paradise Behavioral Health will perform a comprehensive evaluation so we can create a personalized treatment plan that will directly address the issues you are facing.

The duration of a psychiatric evaluation varies from one person to another. The amount of information needed helps to determine the amount of time the assessment takes. Typically, a psychiatric evaluation lasts for 45 to 60 minutes to ensure a comprehensive and accurate evaluation.

A psychiatric evaluation has several steps. Your provider will ask about symptoms, personal history, family history, recent/past traumatic experience, any problems with drug or alcohol use, and overall health.

It’s important to answer the questions accurately and truthfully. This will help your provider make an accurate diagnosis. Some mental illnesses are hard to diagnose. In such cases, additional tests may be needed.

A psychiatric evaluation not only helps to diagnose a mental disorder but also guides treatment planning.

Most mental disorders need ongoing treatment. After receiving your treatment plan, you will be encouraged to stick to the plan for best results.

A treatment plan will be customized to each persons needs. You custom plan could include a combination of the following:

Nutrition & Nutraceuticals
Lifestyle (Exercise, Sleep, Meditation, Environment)
Hormone Therapy
Non Medication Treatments (TMS, HBOT, Light Therapy)

This will vary depending on your individual needs treatment plan.

Typically, you will see your psychiatrist/med manager once a month and your therapist once a week, or as recommended.

A psychiatrist or med manger will be the one to decide the best treatment plan for you.

A therapist provides talk therapy. They are there to listen and help you find ways to cope.

If you are undergoing procedures like cosmetic or bariatric surgeries, your surgeon may request a psychological evaluation before surgery to help assess your readiness for surgery.
