The Brain Well Program uses precision psychiatry to identify the root causes of your mental health issues. Based on your lab results, Dr. Damayo will create a personalized Brain Well Treatment Plan that uses a more natural and holistic approach to treat your mental health issues.

Precision psychiatry personalizes mental health treatments to each person’s unique genetics, biomarkers, and environmental factors, moving beyond the one-size-fits-all approach found in traditional psychiatry.

MEET DR. MIZYL DAMAYO

Dr. Mizyl Damayo, MD, is dual board-certified in psychiatry and substance abuse. As the creator of the Brain Well Program and owner of Paradise Behavioral Health, she brings expertise in precision psychiatry, through an integrative approach to treating mental health that puts an emphasis on healing the brain and non-medicated treatment.

What should I do if I am in crisis?

Paradise Behavioral Health does not provide emergency or crisis services. We are an outpatient mental health clinic.

If you are in immediate dangeror someone has been hurt, call 911.

If you or someone you know is thinkingabout suicide, call 988 for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

How do I contact my provider?

*Please allow up to 48 hours for your provider to respond to your message.

1. Log into your Patient Portal.

2. Click the "Messages" button in the menu.

3. On the Messages page, click "Ask A Question".

4. In the "Subject" dropdown, select "Ask Physician/Provider Directly". In the "Physician" dropdown, select your providers name.

5. Type your message.

6. Click "Send Message".

How do I reschedule or cancel my appointment?

Text or call our office at 941-347-8341.

Paradise has a strict no show policy. You must cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before your appointment or you will be charged a No-Show Fee that must be paid before you can schedule your next appointment.

How soon can I get an appointment?

Our providers availability changes, for the most up-to-date appointment availability text or call our office at 941-347-8341.

If you are wanting to become a new patient, before we schedule you with a provider you must complete all the new patient forms first. After all the forms are properly completed we will schedule your first appointment. Forms can be done electronically or in our office and can be easily completed in 20-30mins.

Is telemedicine an option for my appointments?

Yes. We offer telemedicine through the HIPAA compliant Zoom app.

What happens if my provider is running behind schedule?

Someone from of our office staff will contact you with a time estimate of when your provider will be in the telemedicine call.

My provider wants to schedule a follow up appointment, how do I do this?

As soon as your telemedicine call is complete, one of our office staff will contact you to schedule your next appointment.
