About Dr. Damayo

Dr. Mizyl Damayo is a Board Certified Psychiatrist with nearly 15 years of professional practice. She has a special interest in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and Integrative & Holistic Psychiatry.

 

Dr. Damayo founded Paradise Behavioral Health in 2019 in order to provide a unique blend of integrative and holistic psychiatry services focused on evaluating and treating individuals based on their mental, physical, and spiritual health. 

 

Prior to founding Paradise Behavioral Health, Dr. Damayo served in various attending and leadership roles at health facilities in Florida and Kentucky. She earned her MD at Mathias H.M. Aznar College of Medicine and completed my residency at West Virginia University. Certifications and licenses include Board Certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN), the American Board of Addiction Medicine (ABAM), and licensing and certification for Subutex/Suboxone Treatment by SAMHSA.
